Our volunteer department offers regular ongoing positions, short-term positions, and openings related to any number of our exciting fundraising events. Gain a Superpower! Sign Language School Lunch & Learn Program
Volunteers required to assist with delivering a lunch time Sign Language Program to various Elementary and Primary level schools in St. John's and surrounding areas.
Volunteers must:
-Have own transportation
-Be 18+
-Pass a Screening Application Test (Interview, Reference check, Certificate of Conduct)
-Complete orientation
-Attend monthly training workshops (1.5-2 hours once a month)
-Be outgoing and energetic
-Be comfortable interacting with and reading to children ages 5-9
